Fakuma 2024 — a focus on efficiency and process stability
The 29th Fakuma took place in Friedrichshafen from 15 to 19 October 2024. According to the organizer, 1,639 exhibitors presented solutions for efficiency, sustainability and the circular economy.
From 15 to 19 October 2024, Friedrichshafen hosted the 29th Fakuma — the international trade fair for plastics processing. The organizer reported that 1,639 companies exhibited and 36,675 people visited the fair, fewer than in 2023.
47.5% of exhibitors came from abroad (44% the year before). The largest foreign groups were companies from China, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Turkey.
According to the organizer's summary, machine manufacturers and users focused on efficiency, process stability and reproducibility, and shorter changeover times.
