Fakuma 2021 — the fair returns after a year's break
The 27th Fakuma took place from 12 to 16 October 2021. After the enforced break in 2020, 1,470 exhibitors from 39 countries met again in Friedrichshafen.
After a one-year break forced by the pandemic, the 27th edition of Fakuma was held in person again in Friedrichshafen from 12 to 16 October 2021. According to the organizer, 1,470 exhibitors from 39 countries occupied 85,000 m² of space.
Injection moulding, extrusion, thermoforming and 3D printing were shown at the stands. The organizer named sustainability, the circular economy and recycling as the main topics.
40% of exhibitors came from abroad. For a long time, Fakuma was the first major international in-person fair of the plastics industry.
